“It was such a brilliant day. Vincent guided me through framing two pieces of my own artwork and didn't miss a single detail. I learned how all the machinery works and picked up so many intricacies and small techniques. The studio itself is light, comfortable, and a great environment to learn in.”

about.values.intro

01

Conservation First

Acid-free, reversible, archival. The frame should protect and preserve the artwork for decades.

02

Slow Over Fast

We will not rush a mount or a mitre. Class sizes are small so every cut, mount, and finish receives personal attention.

03

Made By You

The instructor guides, you measure, cut, join, and finish. The framed piece leaves the studio in your hands.

04

Unbeatable Value

A similar piece framed professionally costs around £173. The full day's training is £295, the feeling of accomplishment is priceless.

Student voices

Words from the bench.

Cannot recommend enough! A few weeks ago I attended one of Vincent's Frame Your Own Art classes and it was a fantastic experience. Vincent is a great teacher and takes you through every step of framing your own piece of artwork, is very patient and I not only went away with a beautifully framed piece of art but also new skills and a new appreciation for the artistry of framing. Perfect if you are interested in learning more about picture framing, either as a complete beginner (like me!) or as someone with more experience.
